Curator Resource: Join our Curatorial Forum

How to join

Arts&Heritage and the Centre for Critical Studies in Museums, Galleries and Heritage at the University of Leeds received ArtFund support to create a Sector Specialist Network focused on curators/ producers creating contemporary art projects in heritage contexts.  This has become the A&H Curatorial Forum: a space to share your current concerns and emerging issues for our area of practice, as museums, spaces and sites. We want to work out how to raise the profile of contemporary practice in heritage spaces, and advocate for the continuation of the kind of work we produce at the highest possible level.

The agenda and activity of the forum is decided by its members, it is held digitally every 6 weeks or so and is 1.5 hours long with a mixture of guest speakers and group conversation. The aim is to collaboratively address some of your concerns, to shape the agenda for the coming programme of activity, and identify what other support would be helpful and how Arts&Heritage and Leeds University might be able to provide this.
