Nicola Stephenson

Nicola Stephenson is a creative producer and curator for projects with a range of artists of national and international profile and as diverse as singing parking meters to talking bus-stops and an art park that allows you to hear the sound of rhubarb growing. She has selected and produced both large scale and intimate projects that work to animate public places that include opera houses, museum spaces, railways, hospitals, public transport, waterways, historic houses and parks.

She was responsible for the £1 million public art programme for the UK’s Year of Photography, Photo 98 and is co-founder of the UK’s newest photography festival Ways of Looking with Impressions Gallery and the National Media Museum.
