You are invited to a celebration to launch a contemporary new flag for Prudhoe Castle in Northumberland designed by artist Barbara Ridley, on Saturday January 17th, 2026.

The workshop, taking place at the Castle itself, will feature a presentation by the Contemporary Art Volunteer Ambassadors (CAVA’s) who will explain how they selected the artist, and Barbara Ridley who will reveal more about the historical research that influenced the design of the flag.

Refreshments will be provided and the flag will be hoisted after presentations.
